Ted Stevens and the Doo-Shots "Hits, Misses and Close Calls!" was recorded live at Stragglers in Sarasota FL on September 10th, 2016.

We played 3 one hour sets and these tunes made it to the album, it's a rough and ready performance playing in front of many of our core following! This was a fun gig and the energy level was high!

We included fan favorites specifically for this record. This is the first time we have ever included cover songs on a release as well as our most popular originals.

It's SHOWTIME! Here it is folks, we recorded this live, and out of 30 songs or so these made the cut! Included for the first time are some of YOUR FAVORITE COVER songs that have become staples of our show. We include crowd banter, raves and toasts from the stage and didn't clean up the recording. This CD represents the band perfectly! It's fun, lively, messy and unscripted rock and roll inspired by great people and great music!
